MedTech · Marketing systems
Monarch Medical Technologies.
Email, CRM, tracking and advertising all ran separately, so nothing could be measured end to end. I joined them up.
- One.
- connected system instead of five disconnected ones
- Server-side.
- tracking that survives browser privacy changes
- End to end.
- measurement from first touch to opportunity
The problem
Monarch had all the right pieces. Email automation, Salesforce, a website, search and paid advertising. What they did not have was any way to see the relationship between them.
This is the most common failure I see in a marketing stack, and it is rarely a tooling problem. Each system is bought to solve its own task and configured in isolation. Each reports confidently on its own slice. None of them can answer the only question that matters: which activity produced revenue.
Browser privacy changes had made it worse. Client-side tracking was losing conversions, which meant the advertising platforms were optimising against incomplete data and quietly spending money in the wrong places.
What I built
Integration, then measurement, then optimisation. In that order.
Email, Salesforce and tracking were joined so that a person is the same person across all three. Server-side tracking replaced the parts that browsers had broken, so conversions are recorded where they cannot be stripped out. SEO and paid search then ran against that shared view rather than against their own separate dashboards.
None of this is glamorous work. It is plumbing. But optimising channels on top of broken attribution is just expensive guessing, so the plumbing has to come first.
The result
One connected system, with tracking that survives browser privacy changes.
Activity can now be followed from first touch through to opportunity in Salesforce. Decisions about where to spend are made against what actually converted rather than what each platform claims.
